This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 29, 2008:
Considering the traffic I just encountered while running errands, I'd have to say -- at least for the moment -- the current world situation is akin to squabbling toddlers who haven't learned how to share. Nor have they learned any manners. Perhaps if we give them a cookie they'll behave? Or, carrots and raisins for those of us who prefer healthy lifestyle choices.

carrots and raisins, we don't want sugar high toddlers on thr road. LOL
LOL! toddlers and teens… very similar - many others describe us as the teen stage. I can see both views. nice to see you blogging! hugs
Hi, Nicole and Zephyr! Good to “see” you! I've sure missed the connection. Life has just been too much with me lately. I spend so much time reading and writing for school that I just haven't had the mental juice to do too much else!
All is well in Santa Rosa. School, work, and relationship are all going well. Daughter recovered from her mini-stroke, got married, and is living happily. Son and daughter-in-law have escaped the floods and tornadoes in Iowa and are helping friends and neighbors to dig out. Fires have subsided here for a while. Nice to breathe somewhat smoke-free air.
What's going on with you 'uns?
well! where to begin? Busy traveling all over building my international association and also along the way meeting Gaians, which makes my life so much more rich. Enjoying the summer. The big trips are Scotland in early August and Japan in December. I am also wondering if a friendship will develop into something else (hence the Scotland trip, but my daughter is coming too so main focus is having a real holiday for once). That's mostly it.
